We founded Silver Star Ranch in 2003 with our sights set to raise Texas Longhorns. Due to the Ranch's size, and through years of investigations and reviews, we decided to raise miniature cattle. Our search for the Texas Miniature Longhorn Breed allowed us to select from some of the best breeders in the USA to create what we think is the best of the breed. Utilizing these magnificent animals as our main herd stock, we look forward to creating some of the most distinguished Bulls and Cows of the Texas Miniature Longhorns in the USA! SS Mini Haily is one of our smallest Registered Miniature Texas Longhorn with TLBAA.  Incredible Tan & White in color out of our 38" Mini Ace, who is our smallest all black Miniature Longhorn. She is the absolute perfect Miniature Longhorn being Short & Big Horns that are going straight out of the side, and is as gentle as you would like.

Apache is a Registered Miniature Texas Longhorn with TLBAA.  She was 23 pounds at calving and has stayed very small.  She has calved one of our smallest heifers – Summer Breeze (sire Micro Chief Romeo) with a calving height of 19” and 21 pounds. Dam is Mini Night N Gale. Sire is Barneys Jackpot 560.  Apache calved 09/19/2009.

Miss Rebecca 812 "Becky" as we call her, is a great cow.  Her pedigree is loaded with 70" and 80" horns.  Sire is Shaughnessey Chex (His sire was Coach) and Dam Rebecca Leigh.   She is Red Roan with big horns (on 01/2012 she measured 53" TTT) with a height of 43". With our bulls I am sure she will produce calves with great horns. Calved 08/23/2008.
