We founded Silver Star Ranch in 2003 with our sights set to raise Texas Longhorns. Due to the Ranch's size, and through years of investigations and reviews, we decided to raise miniature cattle. Our search for the Texas Miniature Longhorn Breed allowed us to select from some of the best breeders in the USA to create what we think is the best of the breed. Utilizing these magnificent animals as our main herd stock, we look forward to creating some of the most distinguished Bulls and Cows of the Texas Miniature Longhorns in the USA! New Year's Day Bull Calf Mini Black Magic calved a bull on New Year's Day. He is an awesome Miniature Texas Longhorn bull. Color is white and reddish brown. Height at calving about 20". Very small. So friendly -- he walked right up to me and I petted him the day of his calving. He will make a great herd sire. Dam: Mini Black Magic. Sire: Micro Chief Romeo. Since both Sire and Dam are TLBAA Registered Miniature Longhorns, he will automatically be a Registered Miniature.

SS Mini Tacoma SS Mini Tacoma is a Heifer calved 9/29/2011. She is the smallest born on our ranch - 18" at birth and very petite. Is turning dark Parker Brown and Black. She would make a reat addition to any herd. Her Dam is Mini Black Ace who is very short at 39" in height. Sire is Micro Chief Romeo. Since both Sire and Dam are TLBAA Registered Miniature Longhorns, she will be automatically registered as a Miniature Longhorn. Very sweet and comes right up to us at 3 months of age.
